should yeald a very impresive result for the SCT/EDIT, if the car in question has the Auto tweaked by the edit at the same time, strip numbers should also be much improved.

No Chip chalenge, too much shit fighting and bitching, Stock cars, flash and run, keep it simple, give us all some hope that the SCT does indeed work.

Agian, I voulenteer my Ute for the purpose of testing, un-flash it when your done if you like, or I will pay to keep it, it is up to you, no one is trying to geta free edit, just some real numbers, real cars, no more BS.

What do you think CAPA.

If you arnt ready, just say so, instead of using excusses or ignoring posts that ask for facts, not fiction.
That pretty much is a chip challenge. Not that much different from what we did on aufalcon.com. The idea started like that but it kind of grows. Believe me, nothing stays simple for long.

I can honestly say that, although it was interesting, I would never go through it again. It can often open up more of a hornets nest than its worth.

Of course, for unichip and chiptorque, it served a purpose too. They haveboth gained sales as a direct result of it. I have asked a few people who said their decision was strongly influanced by it. Others were not but thats how it goes. I dont think APS, JMM, Herrods or Chiptorque lost out from doing it.

Re: Wheres Boss Edit?

I think it’s fair to say this thread is at its end until it’s released.

I can’t believe the amount of crap some people dish out, obviously not in the market for a system, but just interested enough to hear their own voice.

I am always stumped how people just want to be negative for a product that obviously will provide a benefit when it has been properly developed, tested, trained and marketed.

I will leave the thread open, but unless it relates directly to the topic, it will be deleted.

If you want to throw out a challenge, or want to have a winge, do so in another new thread, which of course that will be under the close eye of the admin and mod team.

At what point did I throw out aChallenge?

I made no mention of using cars with Piggybacks,

Stock Cars, run and record, edit and record, thats it, no more no less, an oportunity for capa/sct to show the negitive what they can do, not a definitive be all and end all test to the death, a simple back to back, stock and edit, same car, same day, same time, same fuel, same driver, remove all variables that the doubters could winge about.

I even stated to kep it fair, no modded or chipped cars as it will take time for capa/sct to get up to speed with these mods.

again ne challenge, but a request to show what it can do compared to a standard car.

As for havving no intention of buying thats BS, how could you know what my intentions are, I have fuel pump, xede chip, injectors, exhaust all waiting to go on, but if the edit performs then I will change my plan of attack, speak for yourself, not others, and dont read into a post what was not there.

A simple oportunity for capa to show the potentual of the product is all I suggested, nothing more.

At least I believe it's going to be a good thing and worth the wait.

Re: Wheres Boss Edit?

Its an interesting position we all find ourselves in Minge, and I believe some of the individuals who have barked and bawled loudest here will be the first with their hands out. Thats fine, and we wont hold a grudge, all they need to do is decide whether they want to tune.....or run around half assed locked in the 13s....Simple as that.

Hi street tuner, only time will tell, and i am sure there are plenty of members here would be happy to have a half assed 13 sec street car...very simple indeed.

Re: Wheres Boss Edit?

When a stock T can wrangle a 13.8, and a well driven Boss not far off, I would say they would be fairly easily pleased.

But the guys like Rodderz and Jeff are very good at there launch all done on dunlop sp tyres.

Re: Wheres Boss Edit?

I think this thread should be locked and a thread started when it is OFFICIALLY released. This thread is going in circles.

Re: Wheres Boss Edit?

Seems i've been corrected. Didn't realise it was on Capa's website news section. If it's going to be published on the suppliers website then it should be said if it's comming soon or list the price of the kit's for private buyers. Good thing i don't own a BA cause i'd be going insane right now.
