Re: Wheres Boss Edit?

I'm loving this thread. Esp from Jerry@SCT. Your comments are bringing out my Chem Eng, Applied Maths and Physics subjects and i'm loving it. Perhaps I should go back and do that at Uni.

The factory tune gets downloaded from the PCM and resides in the 'flasher'. You can put it back in anytime you want. Great huh?

Re: Wheres Boss Edit?

After getting in my mates vy ss ute yesterday i was reminded of what a cable accelerator felt like, i was wondering if there is anything in the flasher that can give that immediate response with the pedal, as a cable does??

Re: Wheres Boss Edit?

Can you swap base maps from car to car (I know you'll need 2 programmers, married to each VIN) but if you had 2 cars, could you compare base maps supplied from Ford?

Not that anyone would bother, as you'd hop them up to 270-280kw & then compare, but I am just wondering if it could be done??
