Re: Wheres Boss Edit?

Help i went got some nice tyres to help my 60 foot times so i would have no wheel spin quess what now a have no wheel spin and now i went backwards on 60 foot times the harder i stall the car, the more it bogged down last night.
it moves so slowly of the line like it is winding up, something is holding it back...
Speaking to a Tuner he belives the Auto has torque tags reduction tags on it....and this would go i long to the reason why the 3,000 high stall OFR tested a few weeks back didnt work and could be holding back those S/C Boss powered cars...
Mr.Boss Edit come and remove them for us NOW...

I experienced a similar thing with my XR8 at Calder. If you stalled it up to 2500rpm and let go of the brakes it would take off like an absolute slug. If you feathered the throttle on it felt like it took off so much harder, so there is definately something holding it back from full blooded launches. I remember reading that the GT has something like 400NM of torque at 1500rpm so there must be torque tags holding it back to save the drivelines. With the long stoke it should make heaps of low down torque but it never seems to.

Seems fairly cheap, do they do other sizes. Im guessing their not street legal. If these are re-treads which im guessing they are how would they fair in burnouts, re-treaded truck tyres tend to give way if they get to hot and peel the cap off the wheel. Would hate to see the damage one would do if it let go on a car.

I've been told Jack Daniels uses re-caps for their burnout demo's, so they will handle anything on here.
