Re: 1970 boss 429 HEMI
more photos.
NOTE: The B9 is now complete, with only the engine to be installed. It is restored to concourse condition.....meaning, all steering, suspension parts that should be natural steel are natural. All production chalk and marker inspection marking are re-installed etc etc etc. The main restoration time has been trying to locate and purchase some missing parts, very hard to find and extremely expensive. The car was raced from 1970 to 1972 and was set up by Holman and Moody, Fords muscle car parts developers. The car was then driven for a year and then parked up since due to blown engine, hence 10K miles. Kar Kraft KK hand built these cars,as the huge engine would note fit into the engine bay, so the shock tower and suspension had to be extremely modified (note engine bay in last photos). Only 499 were built in 1970, they had to build and sell 500 car so the engine could be raced at NASCAR, 1 was a Couger and this is one of 78 in Calypso Coral.
To be "frank" my dream car. Alway wanted one and NEVER thought I would. The current "NADA VALUE REPORT" put a good 1970 Boss 429 at $235000US and growing fast.
Any questions, please ask
