Y'know, back in '97 I went to a Ford show with the Capri people in Denver and two guys with "1974" versions of just that car showed up. Really awesome. They weren't really '74s, they had to fudge a little to get them into the US of A.

I truly don't remember if they were modified. I think they were still right hand drive. If I knew where my pictures were I would post them on my site. Remind me sometime to go looking for them.
