last night myself and a few mates were goin for a drive down chapel street, but the police had blocked off the street. (seems to be a common friday night thing) so i parked my car a street away from chapel st.
1/2 way down the road i think this road looks pretty dodgy, and pointed out to my mate some glass on the side of the road, i said that i bet someone's car was broken into and got their stereo nicked.
but myself and my mates continued to chapel to get some kfc.
when i return to my car i find my rear quarter window smashed, back seats down, and my dashboard in 100 peices.
but they only managed to get my headunit out, they left the speakers and my amp.. and my remote controll that was sitting in the console ??

I don't mind driving down Chapel, but I'd never park it there! Its scum central, so be careful! Its a shame to hear of this mate, it happens all too often to the people who least deserve it. If only I was prime minister, or even better, dictator, I would decree that any criminal act against another person or his property is punishable by death. Petty crime at least would be eliminated. I hate to say it mate, but I doubt you'll get your stuff back, it's just the way it happens. But good luck nevertheless.
Sorry to hear that matey. As Alex said you have to be careful where you park, though I admit even an immobiliser wouldn't have done anything in this case.
