I thought you'd like to see my Continental and a few of the scale Fords I build. The Lincoln was purchased three years ago for $350. The airbags had long since been replaced with coils and the engine is an '89 302 (there's a receipt in the glovebox from the dealer that had done the swap). Aside from routine maintainence, this has been one of the most trouble free cars I've ever owned (although right now, we're trying to find a break between the fusible link and the fuel pump relay).
As for the scale stuff, the Mercury is the old AMT '66 Marauder with a stretched frame from the AMT '65 Galaxie (to take advantage of a better detailed chassis- I hate those axles running through the block) and the trunk was hinged.
The collection of trucks are mostly conversions done by mixing and matching frames, cabs and boxes, and in the case of the red one, stretching the frame.
Well, that's it for now. Remember- there's a Ford in your future.
