my garage attacked my car today while i was reversing in and left 2 noticible dints on the rear left hand quater panel
basically what happend was i backed up on my drive way on an angle i was trying to straighten up i saw i had about 20cm space so i kept reversing then i suddenly hear this noise from the back so i jump out of my car and my mud guard is pushed in between 2 bricks
i have pics but they are too large to put on and i still don't have photoshop to resize them so if some one can please do it for me it will be much appreciated
i've already started work on the car i filled it up with bog and plan to primer it and spray it tomorrow so it will be nicely fixed for monday
but i have a problem -- does any one know where i can get ea falcon (jarrah) metalic paint from or know any one who mixes auto paint cheap so i can get it fixed cause it pisses me of looking at the car with bog all over it

my new boot strut came off today while i was doing a transmission service, boot came down and hit my toolbox and now has a little dint. by the same method i think i might put the toolbox on my rocker cover and slam the bonnet. ill get a bulge like the BA XR8s.
if you're just after a spraypack, try bigw or supercheap auto... I dont know how rare your colour is, but Stark White you can buy off the shelf.

I dont understand what you did...???? You backed into your garage wall...? Anyways, from my understanding bog = bad. Get it beat out. It's worth it in the long run.
I'd like to know how its worth it in the long run. if the bog fell out 10 times and he had to keep re-patching it he still wouldnt be up the price for a panelbeater to do it.
just beat it out roughly and bog it. it'll look good for 2-3 years before you have any problems with it, and you probably wont even have the car any more after that.

I think you just answered your own question Barry. The Damage doesn't sound bad so I wouldn't have thought it would cost much to have it beat out. I'm not a panel beater though..
If it's the rear quarter panel, I'd just beat it out myself, personally.....
Anyway he'd still need to bog it a little to clean up the job. It's damn near impossible to beat metal out smooth, once it's been dented - it stretches too much.

basicaly what i did i was backing into the garage and when i got on the drive way i was a little of so i got the car on an angle to get the boot in (and as we have two single doors with some bricks in the middle instead of one full length one ) i just spraped the car against the bricks in the middle and boy was i pissed when i got out of the car
