TBH: (the better half) drives an ED XR6 wagon (Mock Dev 4 160rwkw, JMM extractors, 4 electric windows, Ghia door panels in XR trim, rear head & arm rests in XR trim, Momo s/wheel with Cruise, EL thermos, EBGT wheels, etc) things to come soon = EECV upgrade.
Yeah, well, I loved driving the EDXR6 when we first got it.
I was on my second Calais at that stage and the EDXR was awesome in comparison.
I then got an AU1 XR6 VCT and the EDXR6 performed close to that and IMO handled better.
When I got the AUIII XR8 I have now, the ED became a slug (in comparison).
There was no choice...it had to get a Dev4 at least.
The Dev4 really made a huge difference.
The ED actually revs out faster than my XR8 !.
I absolutely love driving it since the Dev4 went in !

Not sure how much they would be now, suggest you contact the Mocks.
Includes reworked head, new cam, new timing chain set, extractors and exhaust, fitting and dyno-ing. No computer changes and idle is still smooth.
Runs on PULP (was doing that anyway) and when TBH drives it it seems more economical (I'm a leadfoot so economy is a challenge).
They apparently now have a new Dev kit that approaches Dev4 but does not need the head to be modified (just cam swap) so will be a lot cheaper.

Hows things? Long time no see. Good to see the ED wagon is running in top form. It's definitly harder to find a very clean condition E Series wagon these days. 160kw at the wheels is definitly not bad at all. Alot of XR8's struggle to make that sort of power.
Cheers,
Gary.
