The Fairmont

Hi guys and gals

I finally snapped some shots of my grandfathers Fairmont. Its got a few scratches and that on the left side, but otherwise its a great car :) And its an XC Fairmont isnt it?

Yup, that's what it is, an XC. Either 1976 or 1977 I think. Its not an update as they had a Blue Oval badge on the grille and boot lid I think in 1978. Nice one! Not for sale is it? (hehehe!).

Nice looking car.
Amazing to see a lot older cars with such low K's out there. I've seen non taxi BA's with more K's than that.

I would take a guess that it is a late 77-76 XC Fairmont. Going by the silver grille it is a 4.1? 6 cly with a borgwaner auto and same rear. It is great to see that ithas been well looked after all these years. Will it be left to you ?
