I'm just curious to know what sort of car people here would buy for that much money. Be it new or used.
Anyway, I'll break the ice.
Either:
Sports: 2000/2001 MR2 Spyder with removable hardtop for approx 25k and spend the remaining 5k on manual conversion (only semi-auto in Aus) and insurance.
Black AU ghia with TS50 bodykit and aftermarket rims for $20000 then $10K on transferring my turbo gear and putting in a stronger bottom end and some headwork, then upping the boost!
El XR6, with tickford kit, manual and sunroof. Should get a good one for 16k the rest spent on paintjob, rims, turbo kit. Then take out another loan for insurance

First ive heard of someone actually wanting a MR2..I think there is a good reason why they are being discontinued
I would say a Series 1 or 2 TE/TS50. Im pretty sure they are around that price. if that fails then definatly a ED sprint with some extras would be good.

Actually, an update MR2 is around the corner. And before you make ANOTHER assumption, I urge you to drive an MR2 on a twisty road.
It just so happens that I like mid engined open roof cars.
I love Porsche's as well. Problem is that they cost another 30k to maintain unfortunetly.
I've seen a 924 (not a ''real'' Porsche, I know) and an 80's 928 in my uni car park though so maybe they're not that costly to run. Either that or these people have relatives/friends who are mechanics.
