I personally didn't go for the optional rims because I was going for a different style of 17 inch wheels, so no point paying for 17 inch mags twice. So wheels and lowering are coming! Plus a few other engine bits to take the power beyond an ST170.
The cars go fairly well, the engine certainly sings anywhere from 2,500 to 7 grand, but we did notice the small power increase the silver Zetec had on the 5 door. This is all in the computer's state of tune, a new computer chip from DiabloSport increases both cars power to 105kW, so the lower spec engine gets the most gains, but then needs to be run on premium, like the Zetec does standard. The cars could do with more power still, so I am going to keep going until I get over the ST170 power, I want to be able to run an Astra Turbo. A uni filter, full exhaust, and chip will get me close, a 65mm throttle body will also add more power.
The rear lights were done by Infocus Motorsport, in Sydney. I do like them, thanks for the comments on them, makes the money spent worth it. LOL.
My car was unfortunately rear ended the day after, on the Sunday morning, so requires a new rear bar. If anyone knows where I can source one cheaper than full retail, please let me know, to help save a friend money (sucks when a mate runs into you - don't want to just let them get ripped by an insurance company).
Edit: sorry, missed answering a question! Both cars are manuals, couldn't have an auto in this size car!
