The misses new ride

Got my misses a new ride a couple of days ago. The MX5 isn't an ideal family car, not putting no baby seat in the AU so i got her an 83 ZK Farilane Gas/Petrol, auto. not bad for a $1000.

looks reasonable for $1000!

EFI or Carb 250??

Any rust at all??

Ive seen ZK/ZL's going for about $1500-$2000 full of qtr panel rust!.

Re: The misses new ride

It has about a month of rego and some rust in the doors, also has a carbie on it. Runs great om gas but can't get it to swap to petrol. Think i might have a look at making it gas only. She had no choise can't fit 2 adults and a baby in the MX5.

Re: The misses new ride

Could have gone the luggage rack option on the MX5, then all 3 could enjoy summer cruising!

The wife and I did a similar thing, sold her MX5, then bought her an EB XR6 to drive around in. She found it interesting to get used to a big car after driving the MX5.
