Talk about not mucking around. Mum thought about getting a new car a week ago, test drove the Focus and bam, bought one a few days later! I just took it for a blast around the neighbourhood, and what can I say?! The handling is fantastic - just a pity you sit so high up and the seats aren't made to support twisty bits at higher speeds Pretty revvy and smooth!
I was never a fan of the sedan (I still prefer the hatches tenfold) but seeing it in the flesh upclose it's more forgiving.
Well here she is:

Looking very nice. I love that machine silver colour (but I am biased of course).
If you ever want to do something to it, come over to the focus section. There are heaps of guys there who have done various things to their focus'. One thing I can recommend to do that is REALLY cheap is change the side indicators (above the front wheel arches) to the clear st170 ones. The lenses are about $4 each and bulbs around $3 each (I can't quite remember). It really makes the car look cleaner.
brother, I was actually thinking of doing those indicators :s6: I didn't realise they were that cheap though!!
I am a little pissed that mum just went out and got it, I am sure we could have got one for the same price with alloys and power windows... What can ya do eh? It's an SR, but I thought the base model was a CL? There doesn't appear to be any extras
