My 1965 Mk1 Cortina

Here is a photo of my Cortina when I used to race it in Tassie.
This photo was taken going into the first corner at Symmons Plains during the last v8 supercar meeting held there in 1999.

Yeah she does sound very addictive at 7500.
For those interested it has a 1600 motor with twin 45mm Webers, extractors, big valves, fully balanced etc with 11.5:1 compression.

Produces around 140hp on a good day

and when I was racing I would allow about 1 L for every 3km. Had to put a holley fuel pump in (with v8 spec fuel lines) to keep up the volume. hehe

My Cortina

Can I add my cortina? Can I, can I?

This was my first Ford. Weber carbs, extracors and wolf mufflers.

I thourghly enjoyed it...but could never gett he tuning of the carb right...
