My 1987 XF Fairmont Ghia

Sunday, 5th October 2003

Hi all,

Looks very clean and tidy. How many kays has it done? Is it EFi or 4.1 carby?

You shouldn't pay any more than $3000 for a pretty standard XF these days. I bought mine stock for $2800. But it was immaculate inside and out.

yeah, but the fairmont ghia's are still worth a bit. they hold their value a lot better than the standard xf's

U can pick one up for $500 - $5000, it all depends on what condition its in.

i picked up an xf for $20 once, ended up giving it to the wreckers and they crushed it haha

but i did spend about $150 on new locks for it

geez, 5 grand?, if i could get half of that for my ghia, i would be happy... no1 wants it i got offered a grand, and i had just repaid the rego, i dunno what ppl think, but its a nice car, motor is good, all it needs is a tune, and it should be perfect, and its got a dint on the guard, which is bieng removed, the interior is immaculate

Hi all

Thanks for the notes, sorry about not answering. I got mine for $4000nz, was the best at the time and still is. I am going to sell it soon, has a lot of problems so should put money into new car. Has been a great car though, may still fix it up.
