This was my first car - bought it as a stocko 250 column auto with 29,000 miles on the clock.
Now it has a 460 with Eagle rods, JE pistons, MSD billet dist, MSD 7AL2, Edelbrock Victor 460 manifold, 1150 Holley Dominator, Comp solid camshaft, Powerglide with 4200rpm convertor, 31 spline 9" with full spool. Boyd Coddington wheels. Pump gas and 235 street tyres..... high 11s @ 117mph.

Still got it! I'll never sell this car. It wouldn't sell for half of what it cost me for the last "rebuild", let alone the other motors that've been in there over the years. I bought this car about 15 years ago, and have had nothing but good times in it. Well, there was the "broken rod punches it's way through my 4-bolt SCJ big block" incident a few years ago, but all the rest have been fun times!
It doesn't overheat or have any dramas that other guys experience. It cruises down the road with a carload full of mates as though it's just a stocko old 302 Fairmont. It just goes a bit better when you put your foot down though :)
