i picked up an:
1991 eb fairmont (series1)
180,000k's on it
4speed auto
immac condition.(little paint missing on rear bar) full service history.
for $1300 at fowels auctions.
i have got the permit from vic roads. so i can drive it around
need new battery (truck one i cant get to fit =\)
and headlights
and im all set.
just waiting on viv certificate. (coz vehicle was repairable writeoff)
once its on the road. will be using the money from the sold ea to get me back in a manual. (sick of the auto already)
ok well detective bozza rekons:
it was sitting at a set of lights and someone slammed into the back and pushed it forwared into the car infront and smashed the headlights...
the damage was... the boot floor was pushed forward a little. and the towbar was bent up under the car.
it cost me $400 to get the boot pulled out and get the bonnet sitting proper.
and that is all i have done to it.
all is left is to swap abttery and 2 headlights and it will be roadworthy.
hoping to bring along to GOR cruise.. as long as all goes well with roady..
(the viv cert i gota wait 7 days for... =\)
