Nice looking car Nipper. Looks like a Ghia rather than the Futura that it is.:p
Have you done anything to it in the way of mods? 180 HP or 134 KW at the wheels is pretty good for a car thats only got about 145KW at the flywheel from stock. I'm guessing it gets up and surprises a few at the lights.:eek:
Rastus.
Thanks Rastus, yeah I have done a few things to it the list so far is as follows:
* SSV Sports Body Kit.
* Full Pedders Sports Rider Suspension including all new nolathane suspension bushes. (Lowered 30mm).
* Tickford Control arms.
* Pacemaker Headers (with 18" extended secondaries) 2.5" Custom exhaust with Hi Flow Cat Straight through muffler and two Hi Flow Hot Dog style resonators.
* Chiptorque HP4 Chip & Cam.
* K & N Filter.
* Performanced tuned by Gary Scott (Newcastle) for Premium unleaded (Now running Synergy).
Booked in for a 3.45:1 diff conversion tomorrow.
Looking for an induction expert to come up with something for me to get more air into the beast.
The car is real good up top.. It really cuts in at around
3,000 - 3,500rpm and then it launches itself... Goes strong up to 120 kmh in 2nd gear.... but thats redline.
The diff should move the power down a bit more for me and give more grunt off the line...
My engine man (Garry Scott) wants to put a Vernier Cam Gear in it to see if we can move the power curve around that way..
