G'day this is my 1st post. Just picked up our EL Ghia - I have'nt owned a ford for over 10 years - great to be back in one. My first car was a 1973 XB Falcon 500 Station Wagon, similar colour to this background (yuck) - great car though - never stopped.
My Mrs pulsar had seen better days so i saw the perfect opportunity to get into a Ghia - and here it is.
Although it has got 127Ks on the clock it is as tight as a drum and oh so cumfy in those leather seats.
My other car is a Mitsu Challenger for fun on the weekends.
I love the El's in that color they look really classy,if you can you should try the AU II tickford's on it, there is a FF member here who has these on their EL in the same color and it look's great.
If you dont mind me asking, what price did you pay for it.

cost me $16,000 - half of which was the Pulsar trade. A bit more than I wanted to spend but it was so straight and original I couldn't go passed it. Spent about 4 weeks looking at about 20 ELs, EFs and early AUs. None of which were as clean as this car. I discovered something I never knew - on each panel (bonnet, boot, doors etc. there is a little security sticker that was stuck on when it left the factory - I am told that if that sticker is still in place then that panel has not been resprayed or replaced.
My car has these stickers on all panels.
Apparently the cops have some special light that they can shine on it to tell if they are stolen parts.
Does this sound right?
Sorry dcstraight - I actually really like the wheels - one of the best designs to come out of the factory I reckon!
