hey guys, just got home from a fantastic half day at work

well nearly a full years hard work has finallly payed off today, the body of my car, the tail light filler panel and the front bumper were painted, witht he rear bar, door handles and moulds, and the mirrors getting done next week, a big thanks to the painter at work for his time and effort!

it came out a shit load better than i expected, i rushed the blocking down but it is still alot straigter than i could have ever imagined, it will be un-masked and towed home on monday where i will assemble it, have it back on the road by next weekend, got trade school the week after so ill get it cut and polished then

What'd the paint cost, I'm guessing you got it in 2pac? Second - what'd the booth cost you for the day - or did your work just let you use it for nothing?

for 3 ltrs of color, 5 ltrs of clear and 2 ltrs of fast hardener it was $475, but i still got half a tin of color and half a tin of clear left, it depends on who's spraying it as to how much is getting used, the painter at work can do a whole respray with 2 ltrs, he is an awsome painter

as for the booth, the boss rekons $100 to use it for half the day, but we didnt bake it, caus no one is gonna be in there till monday, the painter rekons it cures better if its air dried, so the boss may not charge me for the booth, caus bugger all gas was used, and yeah its 2pack

thanks for the comments guys, i still cant get over how good it looked this avo, cant wait to get it home, put it back together and get it cut 'n' polished!!
