Hey guys here's my 4 litre turbo 6 from OZ. Current mods are:

Replaced the intake system that crosses over the motor with a Process West Race airbox straight off the turbo.

Replaced the tiny factory intercooler with a big Process West item plus mandrel bent alloy piping.

5 inch race cat.

Larger fuel injectors.

Cut off the rear muffler.

Kompact blow off valve.

Full LED lighting inside and out.

Sheetmetal overflow tank, breather can, coil cover, lots of work with the polishing mop.

Removed rear spoiler and replaced with a G6E Turbo rear lip.

19 inch Konig wheels.

Lowered 35mm.

Autometer gauges through out.

Currently making 460hp at the tyres (342kw) and which is around the theoretical limit of the turbocharger plus the valve springs have had it. It still managed a 12.2 with a 1.8 60 foot time with the car misfiring from half track due to terrible valve float. Once the springs are done I think it can squeeze out an 11.5. New ones going in shortly plus next year a larger turbo, bigger exhaust, twin wastegates and custom exhaust manifold.

Very nice and clean looking, I especially like how you only see the wire's that absolutely could not be hidden in the engine bay.

At Compak Attak in Sydney 2010, first time having a go at DYO, made it to the third last round then red lighted. Lucky another BF F6 Typhoon won the class though!



Oh and Ian its not just the Americans that would go crazy with these things, Brad from Atomic Performance in Queensland is building one to make 2200 horsepower (1640kw). He has had Cosworth build custom pistons for him that are now available to customers as well as Fat H Beam rods that incorporate piston crown cooling and pressure fed gudgeon pins, main cap girdles, duo phased cams, o-ringed heads, swirl ported combustion chambers, inconel valves etc, all the sorts of things you find in Supercar motors are now readily available for these things! They will be the next cult motor like the Japanese Toyota 2JZ me thinks! A BA ran 8.81 at 154mph last week with one of these motors with more to come, pretty insane for a 4000lb car.

For some of our friends abroad who don't know much about the potential of these things:

1000hp at the tyres, ran a 10.02 with wheel spin!




Holden VL Calais, with one of these motors in it! *warning language*

Should run a 7 sec pass wen he can make the drive line hold up! Drive shaft broke, engine over revved and backfired blowing the plenum up.

Haha yep that's the one I'm talking about! I am buying my next load of goodies from Spiro! Very helpful guy and happy to share his knowledge. I can't wait to see what's going to happen with his car, its dry sumped and everything, you're right the guy is mad lol.

yep have seen this car go though its mods from near the start.
I used to have a ba turbo 650 hp and alot of other mods including full interior mods.
I won 9 trophies in car shows for it.
Including two best in shows.

Sweet have you posted any pics of her in another thread or something? 650 for a BA was it a built motor?
