Just posted a couple of pics of my new Herrod's exhaust system. There a couple more on the mod page of my web site. Unfortunately I didn't get any while it was on the hoist.
That is the new tip, the photo doesn't do it justice, I'll try and get another. Sounds great, even the missus loves it (and here I was thinking that she would tell me to get rid of it as soon as she heard it!)
As for performance gains, the car revs easier now and has a lot more pull in every gear. It definately has added extra kws to the rear wheels. I was quoted 15 - 20kw by Herrod, I'm waiting patiently for the next club dyno day.

honest opinion is complete WASTE of money goin to herrods, should of got mocks to send u headers or get lukies!
that way it'd cost u under $400!
Ok - let us not turn this thread into a Herrod v Mock v anyone else thing. Each of these serves a market place and it is entirely up to each individual where they spend their money.
Yes they certainley do fit the EL ,a straight bolt in .No welding or cutting will take around 45 min to fit.
My reply to other people wishing to know why our exhausts cost more. Its simple we develope our own parts ,then we have to get jigs made to manufacture the parts ,then we have to have mufflers made ,then mandrel pipework made, then weld it all together, then store it and hope to sell it.It would be very easy to just buy another aftermarket brand ,but we have not been happy with quality and fitment .We are a small company just trying to help all of us ford people with quality products along with full warranty and support . Yes we may be a bit more expensive on our systems but they fit properly ,come with all hardware and gaskets and are developed here on our dyno. And do what they are supposed to do.

I bet you are. I guess one disadvantage of getting a 3rd party to hook up the system is that you don't get the before/after dyno comparison. Next dyno day should be interesting, though if Michael is allowed to record dyno figures whilst running a shot of NOS then we're still disadvantaged. :s3
xr6wgn, my coating is still good, and my system has been on for almost a year. HPC is one of the better, if not the best coatings around, Tickford use them as well as Herrod.
I've never considered my purchase to be a 'waste of money'. I paid for high quality system that gave the dyno gains quoted, and that looks and sounds great and goes like a bat out of hell.
Just as I don't buy cheap $20 bourbon when I go to the bottle shop, I'm not going to buy a half-arsed exhaust system either.
