Well I cant do many modifications on my wagon because it still has another 14 months warranty on it.... so I decided to buy something else to play with in the meantime.
Its a 1979 Mk2 Escort 2 Litre Manual Coupe. It cost me $200.
So far i've removed the engine, gearbox, windows, doors and pretty much anything that is bolted on.
I'm currently taking it back to bare metal and fixing the rust.... it has it in the usual places.
At the moment the colour i've chosen for it is either Acid Rush or Blood Orange..... but I change my mind everyday.
Good project car mate, and can't really go wrong with it costing $200. I hope your not working on the Escort 24/7 as i think that would make Mrs eb_5litre abit pissed off.
All the best restoring the Escort, do you have any plans as to when it's going to hit the streets?
