Actually the colour is correct , i know the colour your thinking of (Robbins Egg blue or something its called) , from what i have learnt from the Vic police museum there was only 2 or 3 in this colour (Blaze Blue) , one in Melbourne , one at Wallan and one stationed at Bennalla all patrolling the Hume but this is all i can find out.
It is basically a taxi pack with GT running gear , eg 351 , top loader, 9 inch diff , 4 wheel discs (yep an XA with 4WDiscs !!) Tramp rods on both sides , GT bonnet , brown saddle interior , black rubber floor mats , leather "holders" screwed to the kick panels and a special Stewart Warner Speedo with every MPH marked and no odometer.
I sold the car as only a shell and interior but im rebuilding it to be better than before !! And im putting on 15 x 8.5 and 15 x 6 Convo Pros instead of the Weld Pro Stars.
The Car has an interesting history as it was also one of the top cars in the Victorian Sprint Series a few years ago ......
