My XC GS Sedan

Finally got around to taking some photos of my car. It is a factory 351 4 speed 1978 XC GS rally pack sedan. I bought it off the second owner in 1988. Current specs are:

- A "healthy" 351 clevo with Motec fuel injection (runs on 98RON ULP)
- Toploader with Hurst Indy shifter
- 9 inch with disks (3.25 ratio)
- 16:1 GT steering box
- King springs with Konis all round
- 15x7 Cheviot ZR5 wheels with 225/60 Bridgestone RE711s
- Factory aircon
- Long range fuel tank (125 litres)
- Original colour was sweet cream but had it resprayed in red mica 8 years ago

Occasionally I think about selling, until I go for a drive and open up the throttle. The great thing is that while the car is fairly easy to drive around town with the EFI, it really rewards you if driven very hard. The EFI was done at the same time I did the respray and the torque spread and top end power are amazing compared to a carby.

Very very nice car mate. Gotta love the 351's raw power and combined with Efi it's the best of both worlds in refinement and power.

Looks immaculate and very shiny. :s6: :s6:
