Finally found the link to get the production line photos courtesy of another forum member - can't remember where I originally saw the thread with the address on here - so I repost it below.

Photos aren't the best quality or biggest size, but interesting none the less.

Included below is an edited version of the text that came with each e-mail.

On behalf of Ford Australia the Body Shop Team would like to present you with a picture of your car entering the Main Framing line.

In the Main Framing area the sides and body shell of your vehicle are carefully put together by the experts at the Ford plant. Included in this process are the arrays of robots shown in this picture that are responsible for welding your car sides to the underbody.

Continuing through the Body Shop your vehicle starts to take shape as the roof, bonnet and doors are carefully assembled to complete the body of your car. We hope you enjoy the photograph of your car.

The Trim team is proud to present you with a picture of your car passing along the Trim line.

At the Trim stage, the interior of your car is crafted together. This picture shows your vehicle just after the instrument cluster was installed. The wiring looms, radio, windscreen and doors are also added at this stage.

The Ford assemblers check the entire interior and your vehicle then passes onto the Hi-line where the engine, petrol tank, axles and underbody components are be fitted.

The Hi-line team is proud to present you with a picture of your car having its engine fitted.

This picture shows Ford's state of the art 'clam shell' supporting your vehicle while your 4.0L DOHC VCT I6 is lifted into the engine bay.

Your car also has it's petrol tank, axles and all other components fitted to complete the vehicle.

This photo shows your car at the end of the Ford production line. Here your car goes through a number of tests and quality inspections, this process usually takes a couple of days.

Following final quality inspection vehicles are marshalled and shipped from the plant. T-Series and XR vehicles are shipped to Tickford where further work is performed.

Ford Australia hopes you have enjoyed the photos taken of your BA FALCON XR SEDAN as it passed through the Ford plant.

You're right Shane, it's a great personal touch.
I compare it to baby ultrasound pics that go at the start of a kid's album, except these will be of a different baby!
