Took me a while to get off my arse and get some pics happening, it's the most effort I've put in to uploading pictures for like a year. Fordgallery's stoogin' me, you only get 200kb these days. I should probably donate lol. I've got these 2 pics up for now but I've got way more to come. I'll set up a geocities account or something and do a log.


The beasty motor. It's a 3.9 with a EF head. It was installed in February after the original expired with a blown head gasket, courtesy of a new P Plater giving it too much curry in the heat

Plans? Well I'm waiting to hear from Stevo about buying a EF rocker cover, this one's pissing out oil because it doesn't suit the head. Also buying a wreck possibly in the next week to get it running on petrol after 12 years of running straight gas. It's going to be a task and a half but I'm going to tackle it! Oh, and I want to convert to MPI lol. I've got a EB2/ED factory gas system which I'll put in as well.

I'd prefer to leave it auto for now, but if any manual kit comes up for cheap I'll buy it and chuck it in the garage until I kill the auto.


Here's the outside. It's pretty much stock atm, besides the clear indicators and the missing badge on the front. It's not looking too bad for the 380,000+ km it's done. It was rear-ended in 2000, so it's got new rear quarters and bar.

Plans again? Well most of you know I want to spray it. Probably a green, don't know what yet. Hopefully it'll be done by my birthday in January next year. I've saved up enough for wheels, paint, panel and anything else that needs to be fixed.

What I've done so far...not much. I've pretty much rebuilt the front RHS suspension today, giving it a good clean along the way and putting in Nolathane swaybar link bushes, Nolathane swaybar mounting 'D' bushes, a good steering knuckle and a good tie rod end. I got the castor bushes (ones in K Frame) replaced professionally yesterday. I'll be replacing the springs and shocks on the weekend (anybody want to come and help lol?) which will bring it nice and close to the ground.

I also want to get a EB2/ED Fairmont interior if I can. I thought FPVWEPN had one but he hasn't replied to my PMs! If you have one let me know

I'll trade ya knackers

It's a prototype CAI for EA CFI made by K&N. Makes something like 10RWKW more than standard CFI air intake. It cost about $2000 to get it made up.....now without the bullshit lol, it cost me $10 at K-mart, it looks different because it's a custom gas throttle body.

Lol Damo, sweet...come down on the weekend and we'll do it. I can do it, but you need 2 people to 'manouvre' the stock height spring/shock out and pull the control arm down.....oh and you always need someone to talk shit with when working on a car
