Finally got the photos done. Managed to get hold of a digital camera which makes things so much easier.

The ute has not been washed and was kinda filthy but I only had the camera for a short time. The ute actually looks pretty shmick IMO.

Some details on the XB for anyone interested:

1974 Ford XB Falcon panel van that got a chop (not by me). It runs a EB 4.0ltr OHC motor without EFI, Weber carby (XF), EA carby manifold with custom adaptor, EFI fuel pump, large extractors, 2.5" system with single Berkley muffler, T5 gearbox, standard XB/XC non-lsd diff, lovells front springs, extra leafs in the rear.

The photos are in the members gallery, I cant seem to get the links to work (properties box wont come up?) so I will try later on, unless someone who knows how to do it beats me to it.

Was a pretty simple conversion, although Im having a teething problem with the Weber. It is a bit hard to start sometimes like its flooding or something, also running the EFI pump without any regulator so it might be pumping too much fuel.

Runs fine tho, big improvement over the old non-crossflow 250, and still a big improvement over the 250 cross-flow. I manage to get about 140-150 out of 3rd, but dont often push it that far as the diff is still the standard one. I wish my GT tacho was hooked up properly as I would like to know what revs Im pulling. It sounds beastly but I dont know what it redlines at and I think I rev it out a bit much, it just sounds so good tho!

The engine mounts look pretty standard, not sure, but looks like a straight forward swap. Fuel economy is good, not sure on the L/100kms but am going to find out soon. Have had the ute for so long but never worked it out! If anyone is interested she is up for sale, I have just bought a AU II XR8 ute.

Cheers,
Simon

Located in Tassie, not sure on the $$. Have spent a few but not sure what to let it go for. The new baby pumps out the power but the XB still goes hard and fast. I was dreaming of injection and turbo on it, oh well. The XB has had some interior and exterior mods since these pics, such as new charcoal carpet, press stud tarp, small driving lights etc.
