Ive just come into ownership of a car bra and was wondering what the deal is with rain and car bras. Instructions for the bra say to take it off its raining, but I see people driving around iwth em on even in the rain. Does anyone here have experience with car bras, and any negative side effects to leaving em on in the rain? cheers

Aaaaah hah hah hah hah....
After my recent trip to Melbourne, and the two inch thick layer of bugs on it by the time I was only half way there, I wouldn't mind getting a car bra......

How much boost?
I have had a car BRA for over 2 years now and must say that they are very usefull on long trips against stone chips, bugs and other objects stopped by the mesh grille from deflecting into your a/c condenser.
i have had mine on in the rain numerous times but don't leave it on any longer than 5-7 days. Dust and water can come together under the bra and form a wonderfull grinding paste which will damage your cars finish, also the car bra needs to be mounted tight otherwise constant moving around will also damage your paint.
The only maintenance is to take it off regulary and wash it with warm soapy water and hang up to dry, then apply some armourall or equiv. to preserve the vinly !!!
