Whatya think???

Im just looking at ways of inexpensively making my car a bit more unique, have a look at the photos and le tme know what you think. Good or bad.

At the moment I have just used adhesive book covering to see what it looks like, but will get it painted if it works.

First piccie is with a light grey, a bit too light I think, second piccie is black, but I think somewhere in between would do it.

Bit hard to see it properly, but you can make it out.

Hey Terry,

The first pic looks good. I think it suits the grey. If you think it looks too light, I'd go with a slightly darker grey. The black is too dark.

I wish you lot would stop coming up with ideas, I'm spending a lot of money doing the same!

Yeah ive seen one in brisbane done a little bit different to that, it goes right around the front where that lip is. Looks pretty effective specially if you have the Series 3 Racing Body Kit.

Neither of them! Sorry - not a fan of the AU2/3 XR front in the first place - including it's fake brake ducts so this only seems to make it worse. I'd be working on having a larger set of working brake ducts moulded in - perhaps in the original style but much taller before going for daggy paint add ons like this. I know it's a much more expensive solution so it may not suit everybody but the paint sorta makes the XR look like an old chic with lip stick plastered thick & way past the normal confines.

I reckon if you do the front, you should do the back to match (and maybe even a splash on the side skirts. The silver looks better, but I would go with something in between silver and black - Ford meteorite perhaps? And it does look very similar to the T series.
