spyderdiablo Registered User Join Date: Oct 2009 Posts: 1	1998 Ford Escort (bad eng, good trans.) I have a 1998 Ford Escort, with the 4 cyl eng. My mother-in-law went out to start it one morning, and the engine made a horrible grinding sound. Since then, it will not start. I would like to sell the complete car, or if neccesary, sell parts off of it. If there is any interest, I will get pics, and post them here. I live in Vernon, tx, about 2hrs north of Dallas. First good offer gets it. The body and interior are in very good shape, and the trans shifted excellent before the engine decided to give out. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
