confused 01 ranger coolant overfill hose replacement

2001 ranger 2.3l engine auto rwd

I need to replace the coolant overfill hose. part number km4669 or Ford cutout number 8c633. I have the tube nuts removed and the hoses that attach to it removed. I also removed the oil dipstick. I am working from the passenger front wheel housing. This part snakes around the back above the transmission and behind the exhaust headers. How do I get this old one off. I can cut it out, but then I will need to figure out how to put the new one back. Any help on what else I would need to remove this hose out so I can replace it. Or is it easier to just cut it out and then somehow snake the new one in? What's the trick. Any help would be appreciated.

The original part (the one I am removing) blew out at the manifold. Why they did not make this a metal piece, does not make sense.

Thanx

Bob

yes it is. I bought the part and it matches what I need to replace. The manifold blew on mine. Goes from thermostat housing back to the manifold where it tees one goes aroiund the back of the engine to the overflow container. There is a barb that goes to the heater manifold. At the manifold there is a small hose that looks like it goes to the back of the engine maybe to the autotranny.

Dont really know that car , but on some cars you can get a vacuum hose that will go to auto box / vacuum capsule .Can you not join new hose to old with a piece of tubing perhaps and pull through ?

That could be the EGR coolant hose. If so, the transmission needs to be removed for access.
