'02 auto o/d light flash?? - Ford Forums

I have an ,02 4.0L auto the other day the o/d light started to flash after about 4 mi. does anyone have any idea what it might be.

I have a 00' Ranger and mine did that a couple of months ago. My gears were shot so I had to replace my transmission. According to the manual, the o/d light will flash steadily when you have a transmission malfunction. Hope this helps.
