I have a 06 Ranger XLT 4x4 supercab with the 4/0, automatic & 4.10s that i'm modding up now.
I had it dyno'd stock and it pulled 182hp at the rear wheels. Since then I've added a Magnaflow catback dual exhaust and the K&N Filtercharger intake and now I'm pulling 193hp at the wheels.
The Ford dealership that did the dyno for me said if I take the next step and chip it I should be laying down about 220hp - 225hp at the rear wheels.
The exhaust cost about 350 and I believe the K&N was around 250. Putting the chip in it, tuning it and putting it on the dyno will set me back about 500.

it sounds like you havent touched the engine its self. there is a lot of stuff you can still do to up that.

Trying to save up some cash to do more mods down the road.Been having to spend the extra money I have on the house for the time being.
I haven't really touched the engine at all.
I'll probably upgrade plugs/wires/coilpack and then have it chipped and dyno'd again. Just have to wait till I have the cash.
