ok,here we go...installed another 2.3L,4 cyl. motor,fires once or twice then quits.we have checked the ignition control module,crank sensor,changed 1 coil pack(can't see other)took injectors and fuelrail off of other motor that was working,checked ground wires,fuel pump runs,there is fuel in fuelrail,checked plugs...still won't run....did run once roughly for about 10 seconds,hasn't since.any suggestions would be deeply appreciated.Thank You!

When you turn the key on you can still hear the fuel pump?? does the fuel pump shut off...If it has the california's emissions..From what i can remember it has a cam and crankshaft position sensor..I think the one closet to the crank may do that..If it isnt reading from where it is supposed to then the fuel pump will stay on..this stopped my dads truck from running.how that helps.
