I pushed the button, I don't hear anything, nor does the light turn on. I tapped the motor on the T case lightly with a rubber screw driver, still nothing. My next step is the 4x4 module, but where is it? I wanted to make sure it was connected. Let me know your thoughts. Thank you.
The TCCM, or transfer case control module is under the dash toward the floor; between the foot well area. If there's no center console then it'll be tucked up under the dash.
If the TCCM is shot, make sure you buy used. Even though a used one is a mixed bag in terms of reliability, it's 2/3 less than the cost of one through the dealer. A dealer TCCM is no better than going used in terms of future reliability, and you'll save a couple hundred bucks in the process for the part.
Worst case is that the transfer case itself is on its way out, hence it won't engage.
