My 1994 Ford Ranger (3.0 with 5 speed manual) recently started having a problem when I pull up to a stop. For a few seconds it idles fast and then settles down. It just started it over the last couple of days. I'm thinking it might be the idle control valve from what I've read. No codes show up. Only happens sometimes after the engine is warmed up. Does this sound like that might be the problem? Where is the idle control valve and how tough is it to replace?

You may just have to clean it with carb cleaner. Here's a picture of it.
