So my ranger gets shitty gas mileage?
My od gear doesnt seem to drop the rpms at all, its a standard btw?
Is this normal? I figured small truck better mileage but its gets less then my sisters f150.

The Rangers don't get much better than the 150. Especially if the 150 is automatic and the driving is in town. Manual transmissions aren't as good on gas in city driving because the auto shifts when it should and it takes a lot of shifting a manual to keep the right gear at the right time. What mileage are you getting? Has it been tuned up? Try cleaning the MAF with MAF cleaner.
