im looking at a 94 XLT ranger super cab with a 4.0 and a 5 speed. The truck has 3:73 posi in the rear and a 1 inch body lift and 2 inch suspension lift. Truck has almost 84000 miles on it. inside has all power (doors, locks, dual seats, mirrors) it seems like a gem. Does Anyone have any info on this year, model, package, or drivetrain?

that should be an excellent find if the price is right, and the maintenance was proper.

i dont know what you are looking for
but i can say you share drivetrain and interior parts with 91-94 rangers and explorers.

xlt is the package but i have seen in my shopping that if you have a 4.0 with a supercab then you have powerslocks,windows, ect,ect

I've got a '94 XLT SC 4.0/5 with 134K on the clock and it's still as dependable as the day I bought it. I'm obsessive with my records and this is what I see:

Including the purchase price, annual registration, insurance, fuel, maintenance with Mobil 1, and the added aftermarket toys this truck has cost me $0.26 per mile to own. Lifetime fuel economy has averaged 24.3mpg and the only big expenses I've had are battery, starter, shocks, tires, instrument lights and brakes.

If I had to replace it tomorrow, I'd buy another Ranger.
