my ford ranger recently is having some really strange electrical problems.

1. the door ajar chime sound stays on reguardless if the keys are in the ignition or not, but does shut off once the car starts.

2. the the dome light, and the back outside cablight constantly stays on now, the door ajar light on the dash is working fine, comes on when the door is open and shuts off when the doors close, but the lights stay on reguardless.

3. the 4x4 lights on the dash will randomly blink on and off somtimes while driving.

4. windsheildwipers when turned on are not working at the speed I set them to on the stick, I will get a rate of speed reguardless of what speed I set them too. and its very rare, only has happened twice now, but the windsheild wipers will come on by themselves or not work at all when I switch them on.

I have tried to find the problem on the internet for 2 days how and really havent found much, however I did find a TSB that describes my exact problem with my truck. the tsb number is 982526.

I have tried to call the dealership and ask if they may know what is wrong with my truck but they wont tell me anything unless I bring it down and pay them 100 bucks just for them to tell me whats wrong with it.

was hoping that since this is somthing that I guess happens to some ford trucks that I might be able to find somone here that has had the same problem, any help would be GREATLY aperchiated

also I have tried the wd40 trick in the door latches, and it didnt work, I have pulled the fuse that turns off the dome light and back outside cargo light, but the 4wd light still blinks on and off randomly.

Did u ever get the dome light problem fixed without just taking fuse out?
