1997 Ford Ranger 4 x 4 Hubs
Hey, does anybody have any suggestions for replacing the hubs in my ranger. I have a 1997 4.0L super cab, and I have the turn knob 4x4 switch. Everytime I engage my 4x4 it will engage, but then it sounds like the entire front end is coming out. It will disengage and man is it loud and pops and jerks really hard. I was told the hubs are not catching and slipping and need to be replaced. Since these are automatic hubs will Warren Hubs work? I think my truck is a vaccum style 4x4 to engage the 4x4 just not sure. When I disengage the 4x4 I hear grinding in the front wheel hubs...Please help
