Ok, I've recently purchased a 98 Ranger, 2.5L, manual. It's only got 114k miles and runs well. It's the base model with vinyl seats. That's cool....sometimes. Can anyone tell me what other year Ranger's I could swap interior with using the original tracks in the truck? Also, what about the rear window. I hate a fixed window and want a slider. What year window is the same as the 98? Thanks in advance for all help!!!

Best thing to do, is to visit your local salvage yard for the window and seat. I believe the sliding window was an option on the club cab models, so watch for that. As for the seat tracks, just measure inbetween on both sides and then take those measurements and check out a seat your interested installing into the truck. You should be able to find parts up to 2002-2003, when the exterior was freshened up, even then the 03+ parts may fit, as the Ranger hasn't had a proper redesign since the 80's.
