Hey all,

Im having some problems with my tranny. my ranger is a v6 3.0L Manual tranny. I went to go find the dipstick that checks the tranny fluid, and I can't find it.

I don't know if it is hinden or there isn't one if anyone know please let me know.

manual transmissions do not have dipsticks. there are plugs on the transmission case to drain and fill it. They are 3/8 square drive.

What are the problems you are having with your tranny?

also make sure the truck is level when fluid is checked.

the truck is bucking and the trans is slipping I do need a new Clutch and flywheel. But don't have the money for them. I want to check the fluid to make sure its not low or anything. But some of the problems are from the clutch and flywheel
