2000 Ford Ranger, Transmission....Help Please!?
OK I have a 2000 Ranger XLT Automatic, 4 Speed, 3.0 V6. Just recently, like a couple weeks ago, i noticed that there was somthing wrong with the my Ranger shifting. Like say when I needed to get around somebody on the freeway, I would floor it and it would down shift easy, but when it needed to shift up, it feels like the clutch is getting stuck and keeping it in neutral or it just doesnt want to shift up at all. So I would have to get off the throttle a couple of times to get into the right gear. When I got home I put it through all the gears then in park. I checked the tranny fluid and it still looks like new and there is plenty of it. So I'm hoping that it may just be something simple like a sensor is messed up or I need to change the transmission filter. But I dont know for sure, so if anybody shed some more light on my my problem I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank You.
P.S. And Also the 0/D symbol is now starting to flash, which I know now something is wrong with the Tranny.
