i've got a problem that has stumped two mechanics so far.
i recently upgraded from the '99 to a '00 ranger xlt and on this truck, the power locks do not work. they get power, and i can hear them click when i push the lock/unlock button, but they don't seem to be getting enough power to actually lock or unlock. the black bar on top of the door that indicates locked or unlocked doesn't move either, but it slightly flinches when i push the button. i've replaced the relays, checked fuses, and taken both doors apart and even tried replacing the switches on both doors, and still no luck. if anyone could possibly help me, PLEASE!!!!

just a hunch, maybe there not geting enuf voltage.
improve the groundmounts under the hood by removing them and scracth the paint off below. maybe run a lil wire to a piece of sheetmetal closer to the cab?
