confused 2000 ranger speedo

3.0L with manual tranny, speedo dead till speed hits 45 and above, then it looks normal. Anyone seen this behaviour? Ideas? Thanks

Thumbs up Re: 2000 ranger speedo

Thanks, that is what I guessed.

I have seen talk of two different sensors, one on the differential, another on the tranny. I only see the one on the differential. Is the one on the tranny only for automagics?
