My girlfriends XLT she bought used from a Ford dealer, the transmission did not have 2 tranmission mount NUTS on the bolts. This tell me they did something with it! She doesn't drive it alot, I drove it the other day and it felt like it was surging pulling up to the stop sign. Same thing when leaving until about 30 or more mph, then its gone. She had a hard time this morning pulling out from the curb with only 2 inches of snow on the ground. Is there any thing wrong with the transmissions on this yr. of Ranger?

Is the trans surging or the engine? If its the engine then your time for a fuel filter or you have a bad injector. If its the trans than it may need a flush and filter, thats if its not already damaged.
