I got wacked by theives in the night-They popped the door lock out and stole my radio.--no apparent damage looks like they just unplugged it and pulled it out.

I saw a couple of radios on E-bay for like 60 bucks--(Yeah I know one of them is probably mine!)

Looks like the radio just plugs in with standard connectors-any thoughts on a DYI replacement? Or is replacement more complicated than meets the eye and I should just file an insurance claim since I need to get the door lock fixed too. They used a screwdriver or file to pop the door lock and now there is about a 1 inch gash under the lock port hole!

do the inshurance claim bro hell i would if i had full coverage.

or go buy a stero any stero that has a detach faceplate and behind it has a lil red blinking light.
that lil red l.e.d. will save you car a thousand times over.
u see car jackers and theives know this rule # 1 alarm systems ususaly have a red blinking led and they know if they touch that car the alarm goes off and there goes there whole night of jacking. they will leave it alone and move on.
how i know this well just dont ask.
