I just recently purchased a 2002 Ranger 4X4 4.0 SOHC Extra cab to replace my aging 86 Ranger 4X4 (22 years and 246,000 miles!!!!!!) When I purchased it, one of the Goodyear tires had wear on the inside edge so bad that the cord was showing through. I had them replaced but now I see that there is a technical service bulletin that reads as follows:
Code:
TSB data for: 2002 FORD RANGER
Bulletin Number: 17490
Sequence Number: 10007331
Date: 20040101
Component Name: 190000 TIRES
Make: FORD
Model: RANGER
Year: 2002
Summary:
EXCESSIVE FRONT TIRE HEAL AND TOE WEAR AT LOW MILEAGE. ON GOODYEAR P245/75R16 TIRES. *TT
I can't get any further information without subscribing or paying to see if there is a fix or if is just one of those bulletins that states there is a problem and nothing more.....
Is there a more informative site to find these bulletins complete?
